    1. To cancel your membership, click My Account in the top right corner of the page. If you don't see My Account, you are not signed in. Click Sign In to sign into your account. 

    2. Click on Membership on the left side. The Membership page shows membership details and includes the option to cancel your membership and edit payment information. Please note, if you do not see the Membership link under My Account, you are not enrolled in a membership.

    3. Enter your reason for cancelling in the text box and click Submit to save.

    Please note, the membership plan is OPTIONAL and you can ask a question or accept an answer without being enrolled in a membership plan.

    Your JustAnswer account will remain active even if you cancel your membership. Once your membership is cancelled, you will not receive recurring charges and will only be charged when you post a new question.

    Still see charges on your account? If you did not enroll in a membership but noticed charges on your account, it is likely that the charges are associated with a question you posted. To review your payment information and recent questions, visit the Order History page.

  • To cancel your free trial of the membership, please follow the instructions below or click here to be taken to the Membership page to cancel your membership.

      1. To cancel your free trial of the membership, click on My Account in the top right corner of the page.

        If you do not see My Account, you are not signed in. Simply Sign In and follow the instructions below.

         

     

      1. Next, click on Membership.The Membership page shows membership details and includes the option to cancel your membership and edit payment information.
        Please note that if you do not see the Membership option under My Account, you are not enrolled in a free trial or membership. 

         

     

    1. Tell us why you want to cancel in the text box and click Submit to save. 

       You will receive an email confirmation approximately 15 minutes after your membership has been cancelled. Please remember, if you do not see the Membership option under My Account, you are not enrolled in a free trial or membership or your free trial/membership has already been cancelled.

  •  Most JustAnswer membership plans include a 7 day free trial period. After your free trial, the membership billing will begin. Most plans are billed monthly and include free questions and answers in all categories.

  • During your free trial, you are not billed for your membership. When the free trial ends, you are billed for your first membership payment. Your membership will automatically renew at the beginning of each membership period (usually each month). If your membership does not include a free trial, you are billed for your first membership payment when you sign up for a membership.

  • The 7-day free trial allows you to ask unlimited questions across hundreds of categories (medical, legal, veterinary, home improvement and so much more). On the 8th day, your service will continue to avoid disruption. Remember that you can cancel your memership at any time.

    NOTE: The membership is not retroactive which means that any questions posted before enrollment are not covered by the membership benefit

If you received an offer to sign up for a membership and are not interested, click I Don’t Want Free Answers. If you do not see this option, click My Questions at the top of the page to continue with your question. If you did enroll and wish to cancel the membership, click here to learn how to cancel your membership.

    To see if you enrolled into the JustAnswer membership plan, click My Account at the top of the page. If do not see My Account, you are not signed in. Click Sign In at the top of the page and review the instructions that follow.

    On the My Account look for the Membership option like the screenshot below. If the Membership option is present, you ARE enrolled in a membership.

    If your My Account page does not contain a Membership option, like the screenshot below, you did NOT enroll in a JustAnswer membership or your membership has already been cancelled.

    If you did not enroll in a membership, but noticed charges on your account, it is likely that the charges are associated to a question you posted. To review your payment information and recent questions, visit the Order History page.

    Please note that your JustAnswer account will remain active even if you cancel your membership. Once your membership is cancelled, you will not receive recurring charges and will only be charged when you post a new question.

    JustAnswer Membership Details

    • Membership Benefits: Ask verified Experts as many questions as you would like in any category during the length of your membership, subject to the Fair Use Policy (described below).
    • Payment Terms: By signing up for a membership, you are authorizing JustAnswer to automatically charge a membership fee each month or year you are enrolled in a membership program to the payment source that you provide to JustAnswer (e.g. credit card, PayPal account). The monthly or yearly membership fee is refundable until the end of the membership period.
    • Your Right to Cancel or Sign Up for a New Membership: You have the right to cancel at any time. To cancel, when you are logged into your JustAnswer account, click on My Account on the top right of the page. Next, click on Membership.The Membership page shows subscription details and includes the option to cancel a membership and edit payment information. If you agree to a membership and then later agree to a different membership, the terms of the later selected membership will apply and your earlier selected membership will be cancelled.

    *Fair Use Policy: Memberships are intended and authorized only for personal, non-transferable, not-for-resale use only. Excessive use by any particular customer may impair JustAnswer’s ability to offer memberships at reasonable prices to other customers and/or indicate non-personal, transferred or resale use.

    JustAnswer's Right to Cancel: Notwithstanding any other terms, JustAnswer reserves the right to cancel your membership or any membership program in its entirety at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to your excessive use (as determined by JustAnswer in its sole discretion). In the event that JustAnswer cancels a membership, it will refund the current month's or year’s membership fee.

  • Your initial question deposit is separate from your membership fee. If you already entered your credit card information and if your Expert has responded to you, then your deposit has been processed. Your deposit remains in your JustAnswer account until you give your Expert a positive rating. You will be charged for the membership at the end of the free trial period.

  • In most cases, you will be charged for your initial question deposit in addition to the membership fee after your free trial period ends (usually after 7 days). To cancel your membership or edit your payment information, click on My Account in the top right corner of the page. Next, click on Membership. If you do not see the My Account option in the top right corner of the page, you are not signed in. Simply click Sign In to sign into your JustAnswer account and follow the instructions above.

  • There are several reasons why you might be asked to pay for your question, although you are enrolled in a membership. Some of the reasons include but are not limited to:

    • You are not logged into your account. Please log in and try posting your questions again.
    • You are enrolled in a 5 questions per month plan and have already asked 5 questions during your billing period.
    • The Expert offered you an Premium Service to continue assisting you off of the site.
    • Your payment failed. To learn how to update your payment information, click here.
    • You are not enrolled in a membership. To check your membership status, click on My Account in the top right of the question page, then click on Membership. To go directly to the My Account page, click here. If you don't see the Membership option under My Account, you are not enrolled in a membership.

There is another option to sign up after you give your Expert a positive rating on the page where you leave feedback for the Expert.

    Existing Customers: If you've posted a question on JustAnswer before, you may enroll by clicking the Start My Free Trial button located on the My Questions page. After clicking the My Questions link at the top right of the page, scroll down below your questions to the Ask Unlimited* Questions - Free for 1 Week offer. Click the "Start My Free Trial" button to begin your free trial.
